Senior Physical Design Engineer Position

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical design methodologies, with expertise in floor planning, placement, CTS, routing, STA, power integrity analysis, and physical verification.

Skills required include experience with Synopsys/Cadence tools (Innovus, ICC2, Primetime, PT-PX, Calibre), programming in Tcl/Tk/Perl, and well-versed knowledge of timing constraints, STA, and timing closure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex physical design projects from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Develop and implement innovative physical design methodologies for sub-micron technology nodes.
  • Design and develop custom IP blocks and integrate them into larger designs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in physical design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced physical design techniques such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of digital design automation tools and languages.
