The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the hotel's image through strategic messaging across traditional, digital, and social media channels.

This role focuses on developing direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to drive consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing annual marketing strategies in consultation with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Partnering with Operations, Food and Beverage, and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting in-house guests to drive incremental revenue.
  • Liaising between the marketing department and advertising agency on tactical advertising campaigns, creative, and media plans, particularly for food and beverage promotions.
  • Managing F&B media schedules, verifying prompt settlement of accounts, and partnering with Revenue Management to verify correct offer loading and targeting.
  • Executing email marketing and display advertising, maintaining frequent active engagement with eCommerce manager, and verifying all advertising is in alignment with brand voice.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating social media engagement and updating content in local digital channels.
  • Developing and executing promotional campaigns in F&B, weddings, spa, rooms, and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels.
  • Engaging in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments and responding accordingly.
  • Developing a comprehensive PR plan per quarter, maintaining a list of local media contacts, managing assigned accounts, writing and distributing press releases, and supporting pull-through of impactful PR strategy activities.
