Braze Developer Role

Delivering exceptional customer experiences through targeted and engaging messaging campaigns is critical for a business's success. As a skilled Braze developer, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this goal.

  • Develop and configure campaigns in Braze using Liquid templating and Canvas to create personalized messaging experiences across email, in-app, push, and SMS channels.
  • Integrate Braze with backend systems via REST APIs, Webhooks, and SDKs to leverage the platform effectively.

This requires close collaboration with marketing, product, and engineering teams to understand campaign requirements and translate them into actionable Braze workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Implement event tracking, user attributes, and audience segmentation to gain valuable insights into customer behavior.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Braze workflows with existing backend systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize message delivery, personalization, and performance to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in user privacy, data security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on utilizing Braze effectively.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with the Braze platform.
  • Experience working with Braze SDKs (iOS, Android, or Web) to develop custom integrations.
  • Familiarity with Braze Currents and data streaming to external platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Segment).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment and possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
