  • Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview:

">

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Perform various types of testing to ensure software quality for optical metrology systems, including integration testing, system interface testing, functional testing, regression and benchmarking testing.
  • Cover the end-to-end metrology solution workflow from operating optical metrology tools to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, hardware, software, application, characterization teams in designing SQA testing strategies and plans based on product requirements and technical design documents.
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test automation capabilities to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Develop, maintain and improve testing suites/processes for feature testing, regression testing, release testing and benchmarking.
  • Document software defects and work closely with software teams in addressing them.
  • Track quality assurance metrics and identify software quality gaps.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or a related discipline.
  • Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Have proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Be knowledgeable in SQA methodologies, tools and processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with working knowledge in semiconductor front-end processes, Thin Film and OCD metrology technologies, optical spectroscopies and material characterization.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or a related discipline.

Skillset:

">
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge in scripting languages such as Python or Java.
