Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager involves overseeing the financial processes and procedures within an organization. This includes ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of financial management, from budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting and analysis.

To succeed in this position, you must have a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management, colleagues, and external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyzing variances and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable Management: Oversee the entire AR/AP cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and implementing effective credit control policies.
  • Month-End Close Activities: Coordinate and execute all aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts through reconciliations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing budget vs. actual variances, and providing explanations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance: CA Inter or MBA in Finance are preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience: In accounting and finance, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards: And tax regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial software: And MS Office suite is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: To analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: To interact effectively with various stakeholders.
