Financial and Accounting Expert

SAP FICO is a comprehensive system used for financial and accounting purposes in large organizations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FICO processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design and Optimization: Lead and support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FICO processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Module Configuration: Configure SAP FICO modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
  • Closing and Reconciliation: Handle month-end/year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Business Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions that meet their needs.
  • Integration and Custom Development: Integrate FICO with other SAP modules like Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Project System (PS), and prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
  • Support and Audits: Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations, conduct UAT, training, and documentation for end-users, and provide Level 2/3 support for production issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO with a focus on process design and optimization.
  • Configuration Experience: Hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Financial Reporting, and Closing.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledger, strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), ability to write and validate functional specifications, and exposure to SAP S/4HANA preferred.
