Backend Developer Opportunity

Our company is seeking a talented Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced professional to design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microservices architecture and REST APIs. Additionally, experience with SQL/MySQL, debugging and problem-solving skills, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization, are highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimize backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security and scalability.
  • Work with SQL/MySQL to design schemas, optimize queries and improve database performance.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of backend development experience with Java.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs.
  • Hands-on with SQL/MySQL (indexes, joins, query optimization, data modeling).
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills with production systems.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, NoSQL databases is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices.
