About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and a passion for solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts.

  • This is an opportunity to work on complex technical escalations and contribute to the development of solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • As a Java developer, you will use your analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve critical customer/field technical escalations from our Support, Professional Services, Sales and Pre-Sales teams.
  • You will work closely with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems and participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about the ongoing escalation and their statuses.
  • This role requires owning highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • You will also build tools and techniques to help with Root Cause Analysis using data available on platform and by digging deep into code base.
  • Additionally, you will reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA and provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Finally, you will work with Product management team to identify and implement backlog requirements which could add value to product.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type role, preferably in escalations team.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer taking care of complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issue.
  • Possess passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks. A team player who works well in collaborative environments.
  • Display high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Scripting; Splunk; network troubleshooting; REST API troubleshooting; Query database
