Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Consultant to join our team and leverage their expertise in Treasury Management Systems (TMS) configuration and the Treasury business.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TMS, particularly Reval, and a deep understanding of hedging programs, risk accounting, and cash management.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with clients to determine their business requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.

About the Role

This role involves providing industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the Product solution.

You will be responsible for presenting the Product solution to client users, supporting Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, and reviewing, testing, and validating scripted solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in all phases of the Product implementation.
  • Present the Product solution to client users.
  • Support Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions.
  • Determine business requirements and work processes to be addressed by one or more areas of the Product solution.
  • Assume hands-on project implementation duties.
  • Document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project.
  • Keep Line Manager and Project Manager informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.
  • Adhere to implementation best practices in all functional design, specifications, custom coding, unit testing, and other deliverables.
  • Maintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned.

Requirements

  • Treasury experience with hands-on TMS knowledge preferably with Reval.
  • Front Office/Risk: Experience with Derivatives which include Foreign Exchanges, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps.
  • Risk: Familiar with hedging programs which include Cash Flow and Fair Value Hedges.
  • Risk/Hedge Accounting: Candidate should have a general understanding of risk accounting which includes Derivative Accounting.
  • Payments: Experience in MT101 and XML payments.
  • Cash Management: Understanding of Cash Management items that include Cash Positioning and Reconciliation.
  • Cash Accounting: Experience in cash accounting and understanding how entries are generated from transactions within bank statements.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  • Ability to work onsite at client locations.
