Business Analyst - Treasury

  • Collaborate with clients to provide business analysis and troubleshooting in all phases of the project to ensure the solution meets their business needs.
  • Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases, including initiation, design, build, test, deploy, and production support.
  • Adhere to best practices for the solution in functional designs, specifications, unit testing, implementation, and other deliverables.
  • Follow documentation standards and participate in quality review processes for all deliverables.
  • Keep stakeholders informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain full chargeability on client accounts as assigned and inform supervisors when unable to bill full time.
  • Gain industry expertise through client projects and training.
  • Present solutions to clients supervised by higher-level analysts.
  • Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and other required deliverables determined by project managers and lead analysts.
  • Support technical consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions as directed by project managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Treasury experience is mandatory.
  • Previous experience with treasury management systems is preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas is also preferred:
  • Front Office/Risk Skills: Experience with financial instruments (FX and IR derivatives, loans, bonds, capital markets & equities), valuations, counterparty risk, scenario analysis, value at risk.
  • Back Office Skills: Experience with settlements, messaging, confirmations, regulatory reporting.
  • Cash & Liquidity Skills: Understanding of cash management, pooling & sweeping, cash forecasting, bank account management (account inventory, signatory management, bank fee analysis).
  • Accounting: Treasury accounting, hedge accounting.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure and work onsite at client locations is essential.
