Senior Finance Executive/ Assistant Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive/ Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting work, including vouching, filing, and maintenance of books of accounts. Additionally, you will analyze revenue trends and variances, develop revenue budgets, and update revenue forecasts.

You will also oversee the accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Furthermore, you will maintain and update customer accounts, prepare and review aging reports, and manage overdue accounts.

This is a challenging role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, finance, and operations, to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting work, including vouching, filing, and maintenance of books of accounts.
  • Analyze revenue trends and variances, develop revenue budgets, and update revenue forecasts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in accounting and finance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Tally ERP and Zoho books is an advantage.
  • Good level of self-efficacy as relates to problem-solving and client service delivery.
