Cybersecurity Specialist

A Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of security concepts, including threat vectors and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident validation and analysis to identify potential threats
- Solution recommendation and escalation resolution to minimize disruption
- Maintenance of knowledge base and tool administration for optimal efficiency
- Patching, rule base management, and general SOC administration to ensure robust security measures
- Data retrieval and additional queries as required by the organization
- Performing Vulnerability Assessment scans, submitting scan reports, and rectification to prevent potential breaches
Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications: Engineer degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CEH or similar security certifications
- Tool Knowledge: SIEM(RSA Netwitness), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Network-Based Data Loss Prevention (NBAD), Deception technologies
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and SOC operations
- Proficient in Incident Management and Response procedures
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts and threat intelligence
