Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Petrophysics Expert to lead petrophysical evaluations and drive reservoir characterization across exploration, appraisal, and development projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee petrophysical activities for exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
  • Design and manage logging programs, including tool selection, vendor coordination, and real-time monitoring.
  • Conduct formation evaluation, integrating results into subsurface models and documentation.
  • Collaborate with drilling, geology, reservoir engineering, geophysics, and other teams to optimize data acquisition strategies.
  • Analyze advanced logs, develop workflows for evaluating conventional, unconventional, and tight reservoirs.
  • Evaluate petrophysical uncertainties and their impact on volumetric resource estimates.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Geophysics from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Petrophysics within the oil & gas industry.
  • Ability to travel offshore for rig site operations and field quality control.
  • Proven track record in offshore exploration, appraisal, and development projects.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in industry-standard petrophysical software.
  • In-depth knowledge of logging tools, acquisition systems, and core-log-seismic integration workflows.
  • Skilled in advanced interpretation techniques, including rock physics and saturation modelling.
