Job Description

The role requires strong knowledge of HL7 standards and experience working with leading interface engines such as Rhapsody, Corepoint, or Mirth.

The candidate will design, develop, and support interfaces for seamless data exchange between clinical and enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards and workflows.

  • Design, develop, and implement complex healthcare interfaces using Corepoint, Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect), and Rhapsody.
  • Perform rigorous testing of interfaces to ensure data integrity, message routing accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Monitor interface performance and provide timely support for production issues.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for all interfaces, including design specifications, data maps, and operational procedures.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write and execute SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare integration/interface development.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, FHIR, CCD).
  • Experience with various communication protocols such as SFTP, MLLP, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one interface engine: Corepoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
  • Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR data exchange, and interoperability concepts.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting and debugging tools within interface engines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
