DevOps Engineer and Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer and team lead to manage, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Linux system administration, and experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization.

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications such as Odoo, Magento, and Node.js.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for each application using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
  • Handle environment-specific configurations (staging, production, QA).
  • Containerize legacy and modern applications using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor application health and infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent tools.
  • Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Optimize cloud cost and infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and IT support teams for seamless delivery.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud/System Engineering roles with real hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years managing or leading DevOps teams.
  • Experience supporting and deploying Odoo on Ubuntu/Linux with PostgreSQL, Magento with Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, and Node.js with PM2/Nginx or containerized setups.
  • Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP infrastructure in production.
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, PHP CLI, or Node CLI.
  • Deep understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with Git, SSH, reverse proxies (Nginx), and load balancers.
  • Good communication skills and having exposure in managing clients.

Preferred Certifications (Highly Valued):

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
  • Bonus: Magento Cloud DevOps or Odoo Deployment Experience.
