Supply Chain Manager Role Overview

About the Position:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our organization in a full-time position based out of Hyderabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations, managing vendors, and procuring materials to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing that supports our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions, reducing costs and improving quality.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services by closely managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and preferences.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes efficiently.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in procurement and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, supplier management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
