Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare product-wise profitability analysis and gross margin reports.
  • Develop monthly cost sheets, standard costing, and inventory valuations.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and compare actual costs with standard costs.
  • Collect and analyze historical cost data for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports for management decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliations of accounts, journal entries, and balance sheets.
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and handle audit queries.
  • Prepare cost audit reports as per regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain cost records and ensure adherence to Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Present a fair and true financial view of the company in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather cost data.
  • Support management in planning, organizing, and scheduling project costs.
  • Interact with auditors, vendors, subcontractors, and team members for financial accuracy.
  • Assist in treasury management, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) qualified (or equivalent).
  • 5-10 years of experience in costing, accounting, audit, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software, SAP/ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
