Our organization is seeking a skilled Freelance Graphic Designer to create visually engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing Instagram-first work, including carousels, thumbnails, and short-form graphics.

The successful freelancer will possess proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), as well as basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere for motion graphics. They will also be comfortable with data visualization, turning complex information into clean and digestible graphics.

Key responsibilities include designing daily social content, owning the visual system, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines. Additionally, the freelancer will maintain a clean and searchable library of design files and templates.

  • Design daily social content: Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, creatives, and WhatsApp broadcast art.
  • Own the visual system: Maintain and evolve our social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style.
  • Concept → Creative: Translate content briefs into clear visual narratives, data visuals, and memes that are easy to grasp and fun to share.
  • Motion & video support: Create lightweight motion graphics (titles, lower-thirds, transitions) and edit simple reels when needed.
  • Data-informed design: Iterate based on performance metrics (shares, saves, CTR, watch time) with rapid A/B tests (e.g., two thumbnail variants).
  • Speed + quality: Turn around quick news-reactive posts without sacrificing clarity or brand tone.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with content, copy, and performance teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:">

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media (finance/fintech is a plus).
  • A strong portfolio of Instagram-first work (carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, data illustrations).
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator); basic After Effects/Premiere for motion.
  • Comfort with data visualization (turning numbers into clean, digestible graphics).
  • Solid typography & layout fundamentals, with sharp attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to work in fast sprints, manage multiple briefs, and deliver on deadlines.
