Garage Lab Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Garage Lab operations, overseeing the management of innovation labs, workshops, and maker environments. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment safety, compliance standards, and operational protocols.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise in 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, electronics prototyping, and related tools. They will also be able to coach and support employees on creative problem solving, prototyping, and rapid iteration.

  • Makerspace Operations Management: Experience running innovation labs, workshops, or maker environments is essential for this role.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, electronics prototyping, and related tools is required.
  • Innovation Program Facilitation: Ability to coach and support employees on creative problem solving, prototyping, and rapid iteration is crucial.
  • Safety & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of equipment safety, compliance standards, and operational protocols for lab environments is vital.
  • Project & Event Coordination: Organizing hackathons, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring seamless execution is key.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, lead small teams, and foster a culture of experimentation is essential.
About the Job

This full-time role involves working from the client location with standard shift timings. The preferred years of experience range from 7 to 10 years, and the job level is 9.
