Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a future-proof IT architecture, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and drive business value.

With a strong track record in retail technology and innovation, this individual will have experience in omnichannel systems and will be able to drive adoption of new technologies to enhance customer engagement and streamline operations.

In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 20 years of experience in IT/tech, preferably in retail organizations or services companies
  • Digital transformation experience for enterprises, with a focus on retail industry preferred
  • Omnichannel systems expertise required for a new generation retailer
  • Experience across applications, infrastructure, network, and end-user IT environment operations
  • Ability to define and manage a futuristic IT architecture, spanning applications, data, and security
  • Experience in establishing an IT governance model across the organization
  • DevOps transformation experience
  • Process transformation experience
  • Exposure to AI and automation technologies
  • Front-line leadership and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts, including industry trends and disruptors
  • Team building and team management skills
