Job Title: Financial Accountant Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to manage our company's financial activities, maintain accurate records, and support compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • Accounting Activities: Handle daily accounting entries, including journal vouchers, payment/receipt entries, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per accounting standards and company policies.
  • Clients & Accounts: Reconcile client ledgers, broker accounts, bank statements, and depository records.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparation of financial statements, P&L, and balance sheet, supporting statutory, internal, and regulatory audits.
  • Compliance: Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances relevant to the broking industry.
  • Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and records for reporting and audit purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (preferably in a stock broking / financial services company).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or broker-specific back-office software).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data analysis.
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
