Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data lifecycle management, from acquisition and modeling to cataloging and governance.
  • Design and maintain complex data models that support aviation operations and analytics.
  • Manage metadata and data catalogue tools for discoverability and lineage tracking.
  • Deliver scalable and secure data products on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python for data preparation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Champion data quality, integrity, and compliance across systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data management and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with complex data modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in metadata management and data cataloging tools.
  • Demonstrated delivery of data products within cloud ecosystems (AWS or Azure).
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a pragmatic approach to value delivery and execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data excellence.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with strategic objectives.

Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

  • SAP ERP and MDG: Applied experience with core systems, particularly in master data governance and enterprise resource planning.
  • Aviation business knowledge:
  • Ability to contextualize data within the aviation business landscape for insights and innovation.
  • Knowledge and experience of commercial aspects of the Aviation industry.
  • Deep understanding of customer location profitability, pricing strategies, and their impact on commercial performance.
