Senior Business Solutions Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise on SAP Financial and Controlling Module: High level of expertise required for the role.
  • Global Support Services: Provide on-demand support to global business process and operational divisions teams as well as partners in charge of data center administration, including database management, upgrades, and performance enhancements.
  • Solution Issues Escalation: Accountable for escalated solution issues submitted to the global support team. Ensure timely responses, resolution, testing, and follow-up until properly closed according to defined processes.
  • Release Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze release content within assigned areas and recommend optimal organization for testing purposes.
  • Liaison with Regional/Local Teams: Collaborate with regional/local support teams and testing factories to ensure proper release validation processes.
  • Problem Solving and Enhancement: Liaise with global data excellence and business process leaders regarding problem-solving and enhancement initiatives.
  • Deployment Support: Provide support for deployments, encompassing scoping, design, localization, testing, go-live, and transition to after-market services.
  • Financial and Controlling Processes: Possess strong SAP and functional knowledge of financial and controlling processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP FICO Module: 8-10 years of experience in SAP FICO module.
  • SAP Expertise: Around 8+ years of SAP experience as a consultant with complex and multiple projects (both complete core template design/build/validation, rollout, and support) in the area of SAP FI and CO, with hands-on experience in the following areas.
  • FI Submodules: Excellent experience in controlling submodules like CO-Product Costing and CO-Profitability Analysis, and CO-Profit Center Accounting is mandatory.
  • SAP Functional Configuration Expertise: Strong SAP functional configuration expertise in General Ledger (FI-GL), Controlling (CO), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS), Profitability Analysis (PA), and New GL.
  • Project Experience Activities: Participate in project activities including preparation, synchronization, conversion, and post-processing, table mapping for HANA, comprehensive knowledge of BP roles and functionality of S4 HANA Finance is preferred. Should have an overview of deployment options for S4H.
  • Fiori Apps Knowledge: Good knowledge of Fiori Apps, Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Launchpad Designer configuration & features, and Fiori application types is desirable.
  • Cutover Activities Leadership: Experience in leading and validating cutover activities is essential.
  • Integration with Other Modules: Exposure to integration with other modules such as MM, SD, PS is preferred.
  • SAP Functional and Technical Background: Strong knowledge of SAP functional (processes, available functionalities, …) and technical background (customizing, environment, transport orders, …), different stages of projects (run, deployments, testing, …) as well as project management skills (planning, follow-up, team work, multiple teams' interaction, …)
  • SAP Certification: SAP S/4 HANA (v1610 and 1709/1809/1909) and Fiori Certification is highly preferred.
