About the Role:

Job Title: Lead Field Collections

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our field collections team, with a focus on driving business growth through effective strategies.

This role involves developing and implementing field collections strategies to maximise recovery rates in retail banking and loans portfolios, as well as monitoring and managing the performance of field collections teams to ensure adherence to targets and compliance standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and manage the performance of field collections teams to ensure adherence to targets and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve field collections processes and enhance customer experience.
    • Analyse data and trends to identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies in all field collections activities.
    • Oversee the implementation of technology and tools to streamline field collections operations.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners to support recovery efforts.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on field collections performance and progress.

Requirements:

A successful candidate should have:

  • A background in accounting, finance, or a related field, with expertise in retail banking and loans management.
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in field collections strategy, team management, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in using collections tools and technology to optimise operations.
