At Covenant-HR, we're seeking a skilled Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our global team. Our ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in IT security or vulnerability management, with hands-on expertise in tools like Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or Nessus.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of patch management processes for Windows, Linux, and applications, as well as familiarity with CVE/CVSS scoring systems and threat prioritization.

This role involves executing regular vulnerability scans, collaborating with infrastructure and application teams, and tracking remediation progress. The engineer will also support patch management, maintain dashboards and reports, and provide technical support to junior teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing regular vulnerability scans and validating results for accuracy
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate remediation
  • Tracking and reporting on remediation progress, escalating high-risk findings as needed
  • Maintaining vulnerability dashboards and preparing regulatory compliance reports
  • Providing technical support and mentorship to junior teams
  • Assisting in defining security hardening guidelines and vulnerability baselines
  • Engaging with Security Operations and senior teams for critical issue resolution

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.

This is a contract-based position with remote work flexibility.
