Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Livelihoods Program. As the Lead - Livelihood, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and implementation of the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Operations and Learning: You will work closely with project leads and teams to effectively implement livelihood activities aligned with the project design, activity plan, and quality standards.
  • Enterprise Development: Establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points within waste collector communities. Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal waste collectors.
  • Capacity Building: Organize entrepreneurship awareness and development programs for beneficiaries. Conduct EAPs (Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs), EDPs (Entrepreneurship Development Programs), and mentorship sessions for emerging entrepreneurs.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Log key performance indicators (KPIs) into the PFC platform for monitoring. Ensure accurate, timely documentation and data flow through the PFC technology platform.
  • General Responsibilities: Maintain high standards of professionalism and prioritize tasks effectively. Foster collaborative communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
  • Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce.
