We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Engineer to join our team in the cold finishing section of WDIPL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization and quality control.

As an Operations Engineer, you will oversee the operations and management of the cold zone finishing process of ductile iron pipes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

To achieve this, you will monitor and control operations using SAP and other IT-related applications, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and reported.

You will also comply with all safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential issues.

In addition, you will analyze and implement improvements in the cold zone finishing process to increase efficiency and productivity.

You will liaise with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, resolving conflicts or issues that may arise.

Your role will also involve managing a team of operators, providing guidance and support to ensure they can perform their roles effectively.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operations of the cold zone finishing process comply with established procedures and standards.
  • Monitor and control operations using SAP and other IT-related applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process optimization and quality control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
