Expert Dairy Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in dairy industry operations, including plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance in setting up a new dairy processing center – from design to commissioning.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish efficient supply chain and distribution processes for milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Provide expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Dairy Processing, Operations, or Plant Management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Dairy Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certification in dairy operations or plant management.
