Senior Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise and a proven track record in automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Automation Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex automation projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are completed on time.
  • Design and Develop Solutions: Create and implement advanced automation systems and processes to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Systems: Identify and resolve issues with automation systems, ensuring their reliability and performance.
  • Document Processes: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes, solutions, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in an automation role, with a strong understanding of automation tools and technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with automation tools and technologies such as RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Coding Languages: Proficient in Python, SQL, AWS Lambda, AWS S3. Nice to have Java (basic level).
  • Product Management & Scoping: Experienced in technical scoping & project/scrum management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Team Mentoring: Skilled at team mentorship and coaching, and supporting on technical delivery across projects.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Project Management Tools.
