Financial Accountant Role

This is a dynamic role that involves managing the day-to-day fund accounting activities, ensuring compliance with US taxation and accounting standards for venture capital funds. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fund Accounting: Manage general ledgers, journals, and financial statements for the fund, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and oversee fund performance tracking.
  • US Taxation Compliance: Ensure compliance with US taxation laws, prepare and file tax returns, and work closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing for Indian employees, manage salary calculations, deductions, and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in financial accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
