Web Commerce Developer

We are seeking a seasoned commerce developer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java development, architecture, and database interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust e-commerce applications using WebSphere Commerce
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement effective solutions
  • Apply sound programming principles and design patterns in the development process
  • Participate in application architecture discussions and ensure alignment with industry best practices
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues
  • Integrate and optimize database interactions, preferably with DB2
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS)
  • Core Java, JSP, Servlets skills
  • Understanding of application architecture and design patterns
  • Familiarity with e-commerce business processes
