Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Big Data Developer. The successful candidate will have strong experience with big data technologies and associated tools such as Hadoop, Unix, HDFS, Hive, Impala, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics.
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure that all data solutions are consistent.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, determine training needs, and deliver user training sessions.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on future technologies and new releases/upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with big data technologies and associated tools such as Hadoop, Unix, HDFS, Hive, Impala, etc.
  • Proficient in using Spark/Scala.
  • Experience with data Import/Export using Sqoop or similar tools.
  • Experience using Airflow, Jenkins or similar other automation tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL Server and database structures.
  • Demonstrate ability to write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience working with project management and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.
  • Details oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to integrate in a dynamic team environment.
