Job Overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Solar Energy Systems Designer.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled designer to join our team. As a Solar Energy Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar energy systems. Your key tasks will include conducting site assessments, analyzing solar potential, designing system layouts, and creating electrical drawings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in solar design, including the use of software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and codes, as well as solar industry best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform site assessments and determine solar potential
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project management and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Knowledge of renewable energy policies and regulations
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy
