At Amazon, we're on the hunt for an exceptional Business Analytics Professional who can lead our team to success.

We're looking for someone with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving skills to help us drive business growth. As a key member of our Analytics Operations and Programs (AOP) team, you'll play a vital role in developing near real-time dashboards, self-serve dive-deep capabilities, and building advanced analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation: You'll work closely with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, develop data models, and create insights that drive business decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to succeed in this role. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and scientists to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Process Improvement: You'll be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets.
  • Experience with SQL or ETL and reporting/data visualization tools such as Quick Sight/Tableau/Power BI.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
