Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses of water and wastewater samples, preparing reagents, sterilizing equipment, and recording data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex microbiological laboratory analyses of drinking and wastewater samples.
  • Prepare reports evaluating treatment plant performance and distribute data summaries to laboratory clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) required to complete job responsibilities.
  • Support root cause analysis investigations and suggest corrective actions.
  • Collect samples from various sources using approved procedures.
  • FOLLOW appropriate methods and SOPS on all tasks, maintain quality control records.
  • Read, calculate, record data in Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Perform rapid test methods and confirmation tests on suspect samples.
  • Weigh sample, pour agar, prepare sample for analysis, read and record analysis data.
  • Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
  • Participate in cleaning schedule, maintain retain samples as required, update equipment records.
  • Keep up-to-date on assigned training, adhere to safety policies.
