Job Opportunity

The Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets is seeking a visionary leader to lead strategic, academic, and operational initiatives of the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term vision and strategy for the centre's programs and initiatives in financial markets research and education.
  • Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
  • Build partnerships with financial institutions, statutory bodies, regulatory institutions, industry associations, and other organizations.
  • Manage day-to-day administration of the centre including budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academic and/or research institutions, regulatory institutions, financial services companies, industry associations, or other relevant organizations.
  • Ability to manage academic and research programs.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, fintech, or quantitative finance is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with academic institutions or research centres.
  • Strong professional network in finance or policy domains.
  • Familiarity with grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement.
