Cloud Architect Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement systems and services that run on cloud platforms.

  • Create scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions based on product portfolio requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end container management strategies, including cloud automation with AWS, Azure, and other providers.
  • Deploy Docker containers to enhance developer workflows, improve scalability, and optimize speed.
  • Familiarity with key DevOps technologies, including Docker, Cloud Formation, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Deploy, and CI/CD services.
  • Strong understanding of core architectural concepts, such as distributed computing, scalability, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities

Main Objectives:

  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures for strategic initiatives
  • Establish a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns
  • Expertise in setting up Kubernetes clusters and designing end-to-end container management solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes' internal architecture, tools, and challenges
  • Experience with cloud automation, Docker, Cloud Formation, and other DevOps technologies
  • Strong knowledge of core architectural concepts, including distributed computing, scalability, availability, and performance

Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture
  • Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
