About the Role

As a Senior Director of Product Design, you will lead the design team and drive the holistic design vision for our products. You will be responsible for defining and implementing user-centered design principles to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 12 years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
