
Pediatrician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to fill a dynamic role in Pediatrics & Neonatology. This position requires an individual who is eager to take on diverse responsibilities across multiple departments, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), post-natal ward, and outpatient services.
- NICU:
- Deliver comprehensive care for all neonates admitted to the NICU.
- Actively participate in daily rounds and diligently follow established treatment plans.
- Prepare clear Admission and Discharge summaries with meticulous documentation.
- Perform medical procedures in the NICU under supervision or independently as per competency.
- Deliveries:
- Attend in-house deliveries under the supervision of a rostered consultant.
- Manage the admission of newborns for brief supervision and observation.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.
- Post-Natal Ward:
- Review and follow treatment plans for high-risk babies.
- Conduct thorough examinations and maintain documentation.
- Administer vaccines and participate in newborn screening programs.
- Perform discharge examinations, complete documentation, and discuss follow-up plans with consultants.
- Out of Hours:
- Discuss and follow treatment plans with the consultant on call.
- Respond to outpatient calls and emergencies as required.
- Inpatient Paediatric Admission:
- Manage examination, prescription, and overall care for paediatric inpatient admissions after consulting with the Incharge Consultant.
- Maintain patient progress documentation and discharge summaries.
- Perform procedures as needed, including IV cannulation.
Educational Qualifications
- A medical degree (MBBS) and a postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB) in Paediatrics.
- A valid medical license to practice.

- Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and adapt to dynamic schedules.
- Decision-Making: Capability to make informed decisions under supervision and in emergency situations.
