Key Control Assurance Lead

This role supports the development of testing methodology for critical key controls across global businesses.

The Lead will be responsible for developing and executing control tests, communicating and monitoring gaps in controls in line with risk management processes.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Support assurance planning process by identifying and prioritizing testing activities.
  • Plans and executes control tests, coordinating review processes with stakeholders, managing control testing analysts' activities, reviewing work quality, and ensuring alignment with assurance testing methodology.
  • Prepares draft reports reflecting results of work performed and advises on appropriate solutions and remediation activities.
  • Presents results to senior management to gain buy-in and agreement to action.
  • Coordinates activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit, with a strong understanding of IT systems and operations.

They will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a broad knowledge of compliance regulation and assurance activities.

Requirements
  • Degree-level education.
  • 4+ years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit.
  • Understanding of IT systems and operation.
  • Experience performing controls testing.
  • Experience of data analytics or continuous monitoring.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient individual.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad knowledge of compliance regulation and assurance activities.
