Job Description

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in designing and implementing network architecture.

  • Knowledge of different industry verticals, architectures, and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Routing and switching infrastructure deployment models, physical and VNF, Wireless (Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi6) and private network IoT, 5G deployment architectures are key areas of focus.
  • SD-WAN, SASE, SD-ACCESS, ACI, NSX, WAN Optimizer, Load Balancers architecture and design require deep expertise.
  • High-speed, low-latency network architecture is critical for business success.
  • Network Automation, AI/ML-based auto-ticket resolution, and Monitoring Tools are highly valued skills.

The Responsibilities include:

  • Working with customers to understand their setup, analyzing their deployments, and identifying areas of weakness and enhancements is a key aspect of the role.
  • Helping customers think through and define their IT strategy and resulting requirements as related to industry challenges is essential.
  • Creating use cases and solution architecture designs for customer configuration needs is a critical skill.
  • Crafting and delivering business value justification, business requirements to technology architecture mapping, solution architecture integration, and organizational change management recommendations is a key responsibility.

Able to articulate a vision across executives and senior enterprise solution architects. Create repeatable service offerings for specific domains such as SDN, Network Function Virtualization, security, and applications.

Work with sales managers to engage in pre-sales activity and propose creative ideas and solutions to customer needs.

Solution sizing, pricing, writing proposal documents, creating transition plans, leading defense presentations, and optimizing proposals for BAFO is a critical skill.

Deliver technical and services workshops for network offerings.

Work with other solution teams to create validated designs and other reference architectures.

Create technical and solution content.

Candidate ProfileSkills and Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of solution architect experience in architecture, design, build, operate, and optimize.
  • Preferably a BS or MS degree in EE or computer science.
  • CCIE is a plus.
  • Ability to work closely with customers.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Open and engaging collaboration style.
  • Ability to take initiative in virtual team efforts and influence technical and architectural directions.
  • Demonstrated technical ability when working with complex components or whole product platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with very little supervision.
