Product Engineering Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned product engineering professional to drive the development of new and emerging product lines. This role requires collaboration with a cross-functional team to establish a robust product engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a product roadmap in conjunction with strategy, product, and business teams and driving execution.
  • Serving as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identifying and deploying the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to enhance product engineers' productivity and solve technology problems effectively.
  • Overseeing product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed time frames.
  • Ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products.
  • Contributing to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.

Key skills include:

  • Experience in product development companies.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development and management methods.
  • Adeptness at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch.
  • A track record of shipping value to customers.
  • Hands-on experience with Typescript.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript-based front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte, and back-end technologies like Node.js.

Desired qualifications & experience: BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 12-20 years of relevant experience.
