Job Overview

Finance Manager Role

As a key member of the finance team, this role will be responsible for leading and coordinating financial and management reporting across India.

  • Manage financial and management reporting for India
  • Lead and coordinate month end closing process in General Ledger (GL), rolling forecasts, cash flow management, and annual budget
  • Review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet schedules and explain variances
  • Provide business partnering support in terms of financial planning and analysis, monitoring of business results, managing and controlling operational expenditure (OPEX) budget, customer profitability analysis etc.
  • Responsible for working capital management including accounts receivable collection and payment processing and controls
  • Review monthly payroll and its accounting in GL
  • Check and sign all journal vouchers prepared by Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with legal policies
  • Review, implement and maintain an effective and robust internal control system and ensure adherence to approval processes
  • Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for business needs
  • Manage internal and external audit requirements, as well as ensure compliance with tax laws
  • Liaise with external agents to ensure timely local statutory reporting and relevant tax reporting
  • Adhoc financial projects requested
  • Treasury management
  • Represent the Finance Department in interactions with employees and external individuals & organizations.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification CA / CPA / CWA
  • At least 4-5 years relevant experience in finance department of a large company
  • Experience in leading a team and a good team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and be a good team leader
  • Experience in company process improvements
  • Advanced Excel skills
