Job Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bridge design professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with expertise in steel composite and pre-tension/post-tension structures.

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair of existing bridges
  • Preparing new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards, ensuring compliance with appropriate design and health and safety standards
  • Conducting design and assessment checks under the guidance of a senior or principal engineer
  • Preparing or assisting others in compiling drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within given deadlines
  • Ensuring correct implementation of document control and QA processes

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a self-motivated approach to work. They should also be able to adapt to the requirements of the job/role.

    Mandatory skills include bridge design, Eurocodes, and UK CEng. Experience with MIDAS, LUSAS, Superstress, SAM, ARCHIE, and other computer-aided design software is highly desirable.
