About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sealing and Glasses Design Lead to join our team at Hinduja Tech Limited.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive design and engineering, with experience in sealing and glasses design & development at Automobile OEM.
- Minimum 8-15 years of experience in BIW Sealing and Glasses Design & Development
- Strong knowledge of EPDM, TPV, TPE materials, extrusion/molding processes and optical distortion assessments
- Catia and PLM software proficiency, including Team center
- Experience with engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring sealing and glass system compatibility and performance, and interfacing with suppliers for glass tooling and processes.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required. The ability to prepare and deliver presentations, conduct tolerance stack up, and perform GD&T analysis is an added advantage.
