We are seeking a seasoned Global Tax Expert to lead our tax compliance, planning, and strategy efforts. This role will be responsible for ensuring the company meets its global tax obligations, optimizing tax positions, and mitigating risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes.

  2. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.

  3. Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams to manage compliance in various jurisdictions.

  4. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.

Tax Planning & Strategy:

  1. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's global tax position.

  2. Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.

  3. Advise senior management on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.

Tax Accounting & Reporting:

  1. Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in the financial statements.

  2. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Risk Management:

  1. Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes.

  2. Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, ensuring favorable outcomes.

Team Leadership:

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of tax professionals.

  2. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.
