As part of our Paid Selling Partner Services (PSPS) Team, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on strategies for managing Amazon Vendors. If you are driven, customer-focused, and passionate about e-commerce, this role may be an ideal fit for you.The PSPS team is seeking a skilled professional who can interface with leaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams. You will be responsible for all aspects of the vendor's business with Amazon, including site merchandising, buying, catalog management, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing. In this role, you will utilize your analytical skills to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. Your goal will be to identify areas for growth and develop strategies to optimize their business with us.You will also conceive, create, and analyze marketing and site merchandising efforts to include campaigns that grow traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon. Additionally, you will look into the strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root-cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor's business. Your ability to proactively identify areas for growth and develop strategies will be key to success in this role.This position requires a high level of communication and collaboration with internal teams. You will build relationships with vendors and manage their expectations while setting clear status communications and working towards a growth plan for their business. To achieve these objectives, you will work closely with the Retail Category Team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.Your success in this role will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers. As a result, we are looking for someone who is able to balance multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce principles, with experience in vendor management, sales, post-sales, account management, and business development. Exposure to retail buying, planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, or e-commerce will be a plus.   • PARTNER WITH THE RETAIL CATEGORY TEAM AND MANAGE THE VENDOR RELATIONSHIP BY CHAMPIONING THE VENDOR'S NEEDS AT AMAZON
  • BUILD COMMUNICATION CHANNELS AT ALL LEVELS, SET PROPER EXPECTATIONS, PROVIDE CLEAR STATUS COMMUNICATIONS, AND MANAGE TOWARDS A GROWTH PLAN FOR THE VENDORS
  • BUILD AND EXECUTE ON A STRATEGIC ACCOUNT PLAN THAT DELIVERS ON KEY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND RELEVANT KPIs FOR THE VENDORS AND AMAZON
  • WORK WITH INTERNAL AMAZON TEAMS/VEENDORS TO IMPROVE OPERATIONAL ASPECTS OF THEIR BUSINESS IN PROVIDING A GREAT CONSUMER EXPERIENCE
  • CONDUCT DEEP DIVE ANALYSIS ON THE HANDLED ISSUES FOR THE VENDORS AND PUBLISH RECOMMENDATIONS AND ACTION PLANS BASED ON DATA TO IMPROVE VENDOR EXPERIENCE
  • PROVIDE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AROUND PLANNING, ROADMAPS, AND EXECUTION
  • ESTABLISH LONG TERM PARTNERSHIPS WITH KEY VENDOR PARTNERS FOR THE GROUP OF VENDORS HANDLED
  • SUPPORT THE LAUNCHES OF NEW PROGRAMS, CATEGORIES, AND FEATURES
  • CONDUCT REGULAR WBR, MBRs WITH THE VENDORS HIGHLIGHT BUSINESS METRIC PERFORMANCE AND BUILDING ACTION PLANS
QualificationsBasic Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • An understanding of and passion for e-commerce
  • Language preference - Proficiency in Arabic
  • Work experience is preferred (5+ years). Relevant experience in Vendor management, Sales, post-sales, Account Management, and Business Development in managing B2B Business.
  • Exposure to retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing or e-commerce will be a plus
  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business 'by the numbers'
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
  • Operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment with full control and responsibility of achieving business objectives
  • Develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems
  • Ability to work in teams and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards
  • Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel

While not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • MBA/PGDM qualification.
