Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components.
  • Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development.
  • Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures (FEA validation).
  • Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design.
  • Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery.
  • Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
  • Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in sourcing and developing structural or mechanical assemblies, with experience in designing and developing automotive interiors or accessories.

Additionally, proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping are essential.
