We are seeking a skilled Research and Development Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research, developing new products and services, performing tests, analyzing data, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activity to inform product/service innovations.
- Concept Development: Assist in creating new F&B concepts, wellness programs, room designs, or technology integrations aligned with brand positioning.
- Sustainability & ESG Projects: Research eco-friendly solutions (energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable sourcing) to improve brand reputation and meet compliance requirements.
- Technology Integration: Pilot digital tools (AI-driven guest services, smart rooms, self-check-in kiosks) and gather data on ROI.
- Guest Experience Testing: Conduct focus groups, prototype testing, and gather guest/employee feedback for continuous refinement.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and test innovations to reduce cost-per-occupied-room (CPOR), streamline housekeeping, or optimize procurement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, marketing, design, and culinary teams to roll out new initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Market Research: Proven market research and benchmarking experience.
- Hospitality Operations: Knowledge of hospitality operations (front office, F&B, rooms division).
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Business Acumen: Creativity balanced with business acumen.
