Fabric Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabric Architect to design and scale next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem.

This role involves defining architecture, guiding implementation, and enabling data teams to deliver insights faster with enterprise-grade governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering: Design and implement scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Solution Delivery: Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Infrastructure Management: Establish CI/CD and IaC practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Governance: Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 8–12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • Microsoft Fabric: 2–3 years hands-on experience.
  • Programming Skills: Strong skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Azure Services: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • IaC Tools: Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.
  • Desirable Skills: Power BI, Azure Databricks, or ML/AI exposure.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Unified Analytics: Strong understanding of Lakehouse and unified analytics design.
  • Pipeline Development: Ability to build both batch and real-time pipelines.
  • Communication: Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Adaptability: Adaptive and proactive in fast-evolving tech landscapes.
